Decided to connect the American instruments I purchased years ago but did not know how to proceed with wiring .
Recently found out that OMC motors have a three pin socket at the controls with a rev sender wire.
Bought two second hand looms (twin motors ) and an additional tach and gps speedometer .
Have successfully connected everything including new nav light wiring and a cluster of switches/accessories .
All these into the dash i built some years ago ? 3/4 inch maple with removable top and front radio panel .
Benefit of two motors is that I could plug both tachos into same motor and got identical readings .

Yes Guy it will be exciting to get back to the river ,
She turns 60 next year so there is always lots of enjoyable things to do to her .
Now fitting new floor covering and chrome cabin roof rails .
Will send pics later .
