So glad to see another Galaxy on the Board. Wow yours look great.
I once had a friend who worked at Caribbean Boats and he was able to research my boat SN 17644 as being sent to a dealer on 22/03/1967 These boats were only released in 1966 and 1967. So with your number 18283 I can assume built later 1967. These hulls were used on many other boats however the upper deck defined the Galaxy. I have never seen in Inboard version, mine originally had the Merc SS95 same as in the brochure attached.

This is the interior i restored a few years ago, luckily I had the assistance from an ex Caribbean boats trimmer for the Back to Backs.
These days I live on the Sunshine coast so you will need to look for us on the Noosa or Maroochydore rivers. Yes we always turn lots of heads when old boaties see us at the boat ramps. Best of luck and enjoyment from your boat. Cheers Spritely
