G'day Julian,
Do you know where that picture was taken?
I can't pick the hull. Funnily enough, it has features of a number of hulls which come to mind.

If you took the pic, please send it to my phone.

MERCMAN.

G'day MERCMAN,

I don't know where that picture was taken. I found it on the web. Like you, I also couldn't pick the hull. It's a nice looking boat though, and nicely restored. That's what stood out when I saw the photo.

Julian.

I believe that boat is a Larson All American 140/142 series,  from about '58-9 to '65.
That red stripe above the chine is typical indicator of Larson boats from that era.
The logo near the stern also looks to be Larson. Small photo, not much definition. White Mercs stopped I think in '64 when they all became black.
Larson had hard chines with a 'lapstrake' bottom which they promoted as "a million bubble ride".  :-)

Wish you all a safe boating season and a Merry Christmas
Ken

Thanks Ken for all the info.

Yes, all the best for the new year. We could all do with a good one after the one we have just had.
