Hi MercMan Yes I have had a good look around the forum gathering information for the rebuild.  I am intrigued by the history of these little craft.  As soon as I can get the uploads to work I will post photo's. Currently has floor and transom out for rebuild.  Does anyone know the original floor thickness. 12mm came out and replacing with 18mm marine ply for hull rigidity.

Hi all. I have recently acquired an early savage javelin. She has seen better days though is currently in the process of a new transom and floor and strengthening, prep repaint and fitout to come.  What an awesome boat. I myself am in the marine industry, the surveyor who has view the boat and the boatbuilder helping g me out have never seen anything like these uniquely shaped craft. I will post some pictures of the progress. Any suggestions would be welcomed and anyone with any parts from the original vessels like deck fittings would be great to source.

Many thanks and I look forward to chatting widely about this boa
